Free Project Management for Archivists Workshop – California State University, Northridge

The California Historical Records Advisory Board is offering a free, one-day workshop, Project Management for Archivists.

9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Ferman Presentation Room

 

Project Management for Archivists will help you to understand planning projects in an archives environment, developing objectives and project design techniques, resource management, risk and change management in the archives, effective communication, workflows and tools for oversight and implementation, and evaluation and documentation of projects.  The workshop will be taught by State Archivist Nancy Lenoil and Deputy State Archivist Tamara Martin. Both have experience in planning, budgeting, implementation, and analysis stages of projects.

 

This workshop was developed with funding provided by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission.
