LONG BEACH -- This panel discussion about local Japanese residents’ unique World War II challenges includes Naomi Hirahara author of Terminal Island: the Lost Communities of Los Angeles Harbor, and Nisei Aiko Takashita who will share some of her childhood memories of December 7, 1941 and her imprisonment at Poston, Arizona.

Family Art Workshop: ROOTS: ASIAN AMERICANS MOVEMENT IN LOS ANGELES, 1968-1980s
