California Humanities celebrates 40th Anniversary with National Humanities Leader

California Humanities Northern California Headquarters Moves to Historic Neighborhood in Oakland, CA

August 19, 2015 Today, California Humanities announced the move of its Northern California office from its long-held base in San Francisco to the heart of Old Oakland. The new headquarters will be located above Swan’s Market, a historic marketplace that was once a major shopping destination in Oakland, and now houses restaurants, stores and businesses in a revitalized neighborhood.
