City of South Pasadena Sam “The Sham” Culminating War Comes Home Event

The entire community of South Pasadena was invited to participate in the South Pasadena Library’s city-wide War Comes Home reading and discussion project. The library sought to engage the community in appreciating Karl Marlantes’ New York Times best-selling compelling narrative What It Is Like to Go to War, for their “One Book, One City” reading project. This project is now wrapping up with a culminating event on Veterans Day in the Library Community Room.

This very unique and exciting culminating event will feature Grammy® winner Sam “The Sham” Samidio, Peter Collier, best-selling author of Medal of Honor: Portraits of Valor Beyond the Call of Duty, and Jimmy Weldon, television pioneer and comedian. This event is free and open to the public.
