Favianna Rodriguez is an Oakland-based artist who has dedicated her artwork and community activism to address issues about economic injustice, patriarchy, and interdependence in order to inspire social change.

The Art of Storytelling exhibit series celebrates the East Bay’s rich cultural and artistic histories and dynamic changing demographics through multi-generational storytelling and testimonials articulated through a variety of visual media.

If you are unable to attend the closing reception and would still like to see the art, please contact Neha at nbalram@calhum.org to schedule a private appointment.
