ARCATA– Let’s Talk About the Middle East Film Screening of WADJDA following by discussion

ARCATA– As part of the Let’s Talk About the Middle East film and discussion series, Humboldt State University History professor Dr. Leena Dallasheh hosts a screening of Wadjda (2012, Saudi Arabia).  In the first feature film shot entirely in Saudi Arabia, and the first feature film made by a female Saudi filmmaker, we follow Wadjda, a young Saudi girl, will go to great lengths to buy a green bicycle. Her goal challenges many societal restrictions.
