ARCATA– Let’s Talk About the Middle East film series screening of MUSTANG followed by discussion

ARCATA– As part of the Let’s Talk About the Middle East film and discussion series, Humboldt State Univerity History professor Dr. Leena Dallasheh hosts a screening of Mustang (2015, France/Germany/Turkey/Qatar) Set deep in rural Anatolia, Turkey, this is a story of five teenage sisters, orphaned at a young age and raised by relatives. As they begin to explore their womanhood, they face a conservative society.
