ONLINE–The Uncelebrated Stories of Asian American Mothers & Daughters

ONLINE–Join the Backbone Project for a virtual Mother’s Day Weekend brunch to celebrate the resiliency, dynamism, and power of Asian American families – and the strength and vulnerabilities of mothers and daughters. Mother’s Day Weekend Virtual Community Brunch: Gather some brunch foods & drinks, and join in for sharing stories & interactive workshops! Launching the Backbone zine on Mothers & Daughters, and contributors will share written and visual art pieces from the zine at the event, and invite participants to share, reflect and engage. All are welcome, including gender non-conforming folks, and there will be some spaces specifically for self-identified Asian American women. Saturday, May 8 from 11 am – 1 pm RSVP to tinyurl.com/backboneproject to receive the Zoom link. This event is supported by a Humanities for All Quick Grant.
