Explore the Los Angeles River at The Claremont Colleges Library by visiting this visually stunning photographic exhibit. It pairs historic images of the river with contemporary photographs from LA River X, which is a community-sourced collection of river photographs, art, music, culture and other documentation.
This exhibition was curated by founder and curator of LA River X Tilly Hinton and Pomona College’s Char Miller in partnership with the Western Water Archives, Los Angeles Public Library Photo Collection, California Humanities, Photo Friends of the Los Angeles Public Library and The Claremont Colleges Library.
This exhibition is free and open to all, any time that the Library is open. Parking is free on streets surrounding the venue.
