LOS ANGELES– Film Screening: Real Veterans. Reel Stories.

LOS ANGELES– The Veteran Documentary Corps screening of six short films, each on a separate documentary directed by a professional filmmaker:  1) Congresswoman Speier’s Fight Against Sexual Assault in the Military; 2) John Stevens, WWII and Korean War Veteran; 3) A Brother’s Story of a Vietnam War medic; 4) Bobby Hollingsworth and Iraq War CID; and 5) Michael Blackwell, Special Forces Combat Camera.   Total screening time is one hour.  Iraq War veteran and documentary filmmaker, Bobby Hollingsworth, and Carolina Gratianne, Veteran Documentary Corps Associate Director, will introduce the screening and participate in a question and answer session after the screening.  Saturday, October 28, 2017, 2:00 pm @ Echo Park Film Center, Los Angeles, California.  Admission is free to the public.  For more information, contact Carolina Gratianne, Veteran Documentary Corps Associate Director, at cgrat@sfsu.edu.
