SACRAMENTO– Film Shorts Screening: Real Veterans. Reel Stories.

SACRAMENTO–The Veteran Documentary Corps screening of six short films, each on a separate documentary directed by a professional filmmaker:  1) WWII veteran Paul Georcke and the Beginning of the LGBT Post; 2) Pauline Cushman-Fryer, Civil War Spy; 3)Pride of the Buffalo Soldiers; 4) U.S. Army Nisei Solider Regiment; and 5) Michael Blackwell, Iraq War Combat Camera.   Total screening time is one hour.  Iraq War veteran and documentary filmmaker, Daniel Bernardi, will introduce the screening and participate in a question and answer session after the screening.  Wednesday, November 8, 2017, 2:00 pm @ Hinde Theatre, University Union, Sacramento State University.  Admission is free to the public.  For more information, contact Carolina Gratianne, Veteran Documentary Corps Associate Director, at cgrat@sfsu.edu.
