FRESNO–Creative Writing Workshop: Future Reclamation, A Sudden Experiment via the Laureate Lab Visual Wordist Studio

FRESNO–String stories, a Sudden Experiment, is a workshop that encourages participants to generate new writing while exploring how they can become more attuned with their surrounding world. Fellow and lead facilitator Hermelinda Hernandez will lead activities and discussion around the effects of colonization and depletion of natural resources within marginalized communities. During the workshop, participants will explore personal, cultural, and environmental narratives through textile explorations. Activities will include writing prompts, guided listening, and assemblage techniques.
