GILROY– Film Screening: Real Veterans. Reel Stories

GILROY– The Veteran Documentary Corps screening of six short films, each on a separate documentary directed by a professional filmmaker:  1) Nisei Soldiers of WWII; 2) Ralph Rush, WWII Concentration Camp Liberator; 3) a Brother’s Story of a Vietnam War Medic; 4) Bobby Hollingsworth and Iraq War CID; and 5) A Goldstar Mom.   Total screening time is one hour.  VDC Associate Director, Carolina Gratianne and Iraq War veteran and documentary filmmaker, Bobby Hollingsworth, will introduce the screening and participate in a question and answer session after the screening.  Thursday, November 9, 2017, 2:00 pm @ Gavilan College Theatre, Gavilan College, Gilroy, California  Admission is free to the public.  For more information, contact Carolina Gratianne, Veteran Documentary Corps Associate Director, at cgrat@sfsu.edu.
