INLAND EMPIRE-
California Humanities wants to hear from you.
Our listening tour throughout California is continuing! Through small videoconferences, we are engaging in our Listening Sessions to explore the status and future of the humanities field in California. Our online Listening Sessions are smaller by design to make sure participants are seen and heard. That is why we are conducting multiple sessions per city and region. You have two options below, and we are open to adding more sessions when needed. Our goal is to sit down and talk with organizations and individuals focused on telling California stories through the humanities, and consider how we might all work together to learn from each other and amplify our voices. At the listening session, you will: -Share your knowledge about humanities and cultural programming throughout the Inland Empire -Provide feedback and ideas on improving the collaboration of humanities and cultural programs locally and across the state -Explore the impact of COVID-19 on your local network and share ideas on moving forward together To provide for adequate speaking time for all participants in the dialogue, we are limiting each session to 10 participants. You have two dates to choose from: Monday, July 27, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 29, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Please note that the listening sessions are not workshops to learn more about our grant programs. Grants Workshops are scheduled throughout the year and you can find more information on our Funding Opportunities page. Questions? Contact Outreach & Advocacy Manager John Nguyen-Yap at
