LOS ANGELES―Attend the second of three public conversations/screenings & story-gathering sessions for The Chicharrón Chronicles, a cross-cultural story-gathering project in Los Angeles’ Historic Filipinotown exploring the colonial legacy of Spain and commonalities among people of Filipinx and Latinx descent.

Co-presented by Sunday Jump, a community open mic series in Historic Filipinotown, The Chicharrón Chronicles 02: MAGSALITA // SPEAK // HABLAR explores the complexities of language through a vibrant mix of spoken word performances and a participatory content development workshop co-facilitated by Sarita See, Professor of Media and Cultural Studies at the University of California Riverside.
