MORGAN HILL– Film Screening of REAL VETERANS. REEL STORIES.

MORGAN HILL– The Veteran Documentary Corps screening of Nisei Soldiers, a documentary film about 442nd Regimental Combat Team – the most decorated unity in Army history and one made up of Japanese Americans that enlisted from internment camps.   A Q/A will follow, including the filmmaker, Alexander Irwin, and Lawson Sakai, a member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team and hence WWII and internment camp veteran.  The event is preceded by a talk from Jim Taylor, a Vietnam War Congressional Media of Honor recipient.  Total screening and Q/A time is one hour.   Saturday, February 10, 2018, 12:30 pm @ Morgan Hill Buddhist Community Center, 16450 Murphy Avenue, Morgan Hill, California   Admission is free to the public.   For more information, contact Carolina Gratianne, Veteran Documentary Corps Associate Director, at cgrat@sfsu.edu.
