ONLINE—Become a Certified Citizen Historian with the 1947 Partition Archive

ONLINE—Become a remote Citizen Historian for the 1947 Partition Archive, a Humanities for All Quick Grant-supported project sharing the stories of witnesses to the 1947 Partition of South Asia with the broader public. Take a free online oral history workshop and help document the memories of survivors from home. The 1947 Partition Archive is dedicated to documenting, preserving and sharing eye witness accounts from all ethnic, religious and economic communities affected by the Partition of British India in 1947, collecting, preserving and sharing personal items and artifacts associated with the people’s memory of the 1947 Partition, and bringing knowledge of Partition into widespread public consciousness.
