PIEDMONT– Short Film Screenings and Community Dialogues: Tales from the Middle East

PIEDMONT– Come have a cup of tea, watch film clips, and learn about personal storytelling.  Documentary filmmakers share how personal stories can create a deeper understanding of individuals, families, and communities from the Middle East.  Followed by a community dialogue and a demonstration of an interactive storytelling tool.   Saturday, February 17, 2018, 6:00-8:00 pm @ Kehilla Synagogue, 1300 Grand Ave., Piedmont Sunday, February 18, 2018, 3:00-5:00 pm @ Islamic Cultural Center, 1433 Madison St., Oakland  Free event.
