PLACENTIA—Arte Creativo at Placentia District Library

Image courtesy of Wikimedia. PLACENTIA—On Saturday, October 12 at the Placentia District Library, attend Arte Creativo, an all day celebration of Latin American culture. Enjoy a family storytime program featuring The Runaway Tortilla with librarians Ana and Michelle and professional bilingual storyteller Georgette Baker, who weaves science, artifacts, and stories. Watch folklórico dancers, make chalk art, and record your story of coming to Placentia area on audio equipment in the History Room. Special guest artist Anthony Rico will be onsite creating a special piece for the event and he and an assistant will be helping everyone to use this fun artistic medium. Anyone can take part in the fun, no matter their artistic skills. Chalk will be provided. A free program; all ages welcome.
