REDDING– An Evening of Film and Spoken Word: From the Quarters to Lincoln Heights

Strike at Weed Lumber Mill, Courtesy of Weed Museum REDDING– Celebrate local Black History and support “Voices of the Golden Ghosts” a new history project on Shasta County’s African American history during the Gold Rush.  An Evening of Film and Spoken Word including a screening of From the Quarters to Lincoln Heights, a film by Mark Oliver and James Langford at the Shasta County Arts Council at Old City Hall (1313 Market Street Redding, CA 96001)  on February 16th at 7 pm.  Tickets: $8 at the door  From the Quarters to Lincoln Heights was supported by California Humanities through a Community Stories grant. Voices of the Golden Ghosts is supported by California Humanities through an Humanities for All Project Grant.
