The program is free and open to the public. Not only will participants learn photography skills, they will learn the way photographers use those skills to tell a story about who they are and what they value. This series will help participants become more familiar with uses of storytelling, photography, and visual arts practice. They will engage in a range of activities that integrate humanities scholarship and artistic performance and production. Incorporating practicing academics, local artists, and national performers, these workshops will attract a wide range of community members and provide them opportunities to create and share new narratives of being and place.
