SAN DIEGO—Jiātíng gùshì: Reception

  SAN DIEGO—On November 30th, the Museum will welcome all current phase project interviewees, their families, and guests to join us at the Pei Chen Liu and Tsun-Nien Chang Library at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Extension, for a reception to unveil the ongoing oral history interview program at the SDCHM. At 12 p.m., SDCHM Executive Director, Juliana Gay, and Project Coordinator, Elizabeth Hensley C., will hold an conversation about the ongoing oral history interview program at the SDCHM, where Museum researchers, facilities, and equipment are made available to community members at request and through periodic public interview workshops at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Extension. Members of the public are welcome to drop in to the reception, which is free with purchase of Museum admission ($5.00).  Interested parties may RSVP to attend via the event page@https://www.sdchm.org/event/jiating-gushi-oral-history-project-unveiling-event/. Saturday, November 30 from 11:00am to 4:00pm  San Diego Chinese Historical Museum  Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Extension 328 J Street San Diego, CA 92101 Located 1 block from the Convention Center Trolley Station (served by the Green Line). Two-hour metered parking ($1.25 per hour with a 2-hour limit) is available in front of the museum and on nearby streets. Independent paid parking lots are also located nearby.
