
SAN DIEGO—On November 10, the San Diego Chinese Historical Society and Museum will host the fourth oral history interview workshop, under the project title Jiātíng gùshì . Community members and their families are invited to share and record memories and stories. For the fourth workshop, the museum is pleased to welcome special guest Peter Chu. Peter is an attorney at law who specializes in business immigration law. He is also the President of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of San Diego. We’re interested to speak with Peter on the history of the organization that he represents, learning more about the important role that the CCBA has played in local community development in the region. Members of the public are welcome to sit in on the oral history interview sessions, which are free with purchase of Museum admission ($5.00). Please be advised, this workshop takes place after the Museum is closed to the general public.
