SAN DIEGO CITY COLLEGE–Join San Diego City College for a screening of MAKING WAVES, a documentary film that reveals the hidden power of sound in cinema, introduces us to the unsung heroes who create it, and features insights from legendary directors with whom they collaborate. 

Presented by San Diego City College World Cultures Program, City College RTVF, MUSIC@CITY, and AES San Diego in partnership with California Humanities, with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Thursday, April 20, 2023 – 6-9 pm

San Diego City College, Room MS-162 (C St. at 16th St.)

Stay for a post-screening Q&A and sound-editing masterclass with filmmakers Midge Costin and Bobette Buster. 

Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
