ONLINE WORKSHOP–Storytelling for Social Change Workshop Series: Decolonizing the Mind

ONLINE WORKSHOP–Tune in on Facebook and YouTube live for the first workshop in the series, Storytelling for Social Change: Reclaiming our Stories, designed to preserve South L.A. stories, promote wellness, and inspire social change by exploring human experiences. Decolonizing the Mind: Understanding consciousness, symbols and the power of our stories to heal and regain our humanity is the first workshop facilitated by Fidel Rodriguez in the Storytelling for Social Change series. Fidel Rodriguez has produced award-winning radio programs on Clear Channel and Pacifica Radio, as well as worked for over a decade for the Los Angeles County Human Relations Commission facilitating leadership and youth development programs. Fidel will prompt participants to explore their shared human experiences and diversities, understand symbols, as well as learn how storytelling can be integrated as a tool for healing.
