THOUSAND OAKS– Sabine Talaugon from the Chumash Science Through Time project will discuss how Chumash people used the stars to keep track of time and the importance of indigenizing science in the contemporary world. The Chumash Science Through Time Project celebrates Indigenous knowledge as specialized, complex, and necessary for everyone’s survival.
