UCLA–Afro-Oaxacan Fun Fest

An event of Humanities For All Project Grant-funded Afrolatine California. This free event will focus on the Afro-Oaxacan community of Mexico, and feature live Oaxacan music from the Los Guajes Ensemble and the opportunity to participate in constructing bull and turtle structures used in Afro-Oaxacan celebrations. GEO artisenales will also be available for sale. Organized by the Anthropology Museum at California State University, San Bernardino and Afro-Latinx Connection at UCLA.

03:00-04:00 pm – Letter writing
