WEBINAR—Securing the Vote: Presentation on the 100th Anniversary of Women’s Suffrage

WEBINAR—The Mission Inn Foundation and the Riverside League of Women Voters welcome Kathleen Feeley, who will present a Zoom Webinar commemorating the history of Woman’s Suffrage to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote. The presentation is part of the Mission Inn Foundation’s series of programs called Toward Peace – exploring the history of Frank Miller’s Peace activism and its broader contexts. Feeley, Professor of History at the University of Redlands will speak on Securing the Vote: The History of Women’s Suffrage in the IE and across the Nation. Following Feeley’s presentation, Theresa Hanley, project director of Toward Peace will speak briefly on the connections between the Suffrage and Peace movements and how Frank Miller, the founder of the Mission Inn, fits into the stories. The Zoom webinar format enables viewers to ask questions remotely following the presentation.
