ZOOM—On December 5, join Dr. Ana Elizabeth Rosas, Associate Professor of Chicano-Latino Studies and History at UC Irvine for a panel of UC Irvine students in conversation. Fellow guests will include Dr. Manuel N. Gomez, UC Irvine Vice Chancellor Emeritus to discuss the importance of celebrating and learning from cultural heritage and lines of belonging. Hear about Dr. Gomez’ activism in the Chicano Civil Rights and Arts Movement and his 30-year career as a leader in university administration – becoming the first Latino Vice Chancellor in the University of California system.
