DESCRIPTION:Caption: Photos courtesy of Dr. Sudarsky. \nLOS ANGELES—Los Angeles Poverty Department (LAPD) is pleased to announce the opening of its new Skid Row History Museum & Archive exhibition\, Welcome to the Covid Hotel. \nWelcome to the Covid Hotel reveals the exceptional innovations and successes of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who ran LA County Health Department’s emergency Quarantine and Isolation sites for houseless Covid patients and people exposed to the virus in shelters. \nExhibit\nMarch 9-December 14\, 2024\nThursdays-Saturdays\, 2-5pm \nPublic Reception\nMarch 9\, 2024 @ 4:00-7:00pm\nS. After the 2017 Tubbs Fire in Sonoma County\, archaeologists and forensic canine teams found a way to recover cremains from the wreckage of destroyed homes.
