Info Sessions and More this Month for Community Stories Grantseekers

Interested in applying for funding from our Community Stories grant program?

New grant guidelines, sample grant proposals, and descriptions of past funded projects are now available HERE on our website. The online application will become available on July 2, 2012. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 5 pm.

But wait! There’s more! We are providing free, in-person information sessions and an informational webinar to grantseekers this month. Meet with Cal Humanities staff, learn more about the application process, and get advice on how to improve your proposal.

Community Stories (formerly named the California Story Fund) is our ongoing, competitive grantmaking program designed to support projects that document and share compelling stories from and about California’s diverse communities. Applicants may request up to $10,000 in grant funds and any amount received must be matched with an equivalent cash or in-kind resource.
