ITVS Seeks Applications for Diversity Development Fund

Diversity Development Fund offers producers of color up to $25,000 in research and development funding to develop a documentary for public television. We are looking for exceptional stories by filmmakers from diverse backgrounds: films that take creative risks, inspire dialogue and are rarely seen on public media. We are committed to supporting producers of color and creating public media programming that is truly inclusive.

The deadline for receiving all application materials is Friday, September 13, 2019, 11:59 pm Pacific time.

ITVS’s goal with early funding is to help producers create programs that will be competitive in other funding initiatives, including ITVS’s Open Call, and in the public television system at large.

Diversity Development Fund funding is only available to independent producers of color who are citizens or legal residents of the US and its external territories.
