DESCRIPTION:In early January 2025\, the Palisades and Eaton wildfires destroyed homes and businesses and disrupted lives across Southern California. The American Red Cross provided shelter\, food\, relief supplies\, and comfort to disaster survivors\, as well as financial assistance to severely affected households.   \nThanks to our generous donors\, the Red Cross is supporting Long-Term Recovery efforts in affected areas through strategic grants to nonprofit organizations providing vital recovery services. Grants are dedicated to funding organizations and projects that assist the most vulnerable individuals\, households and communities in their long-term recovery and resiliency activities. \nUsing a Request for Proposal (RFP) process\, the Red Cross 2025 California Wildfires Long-Term Recovery Program is focusing its funding in four areas of need: \nTuesday\, July 15\, 2:00 pm PT\nRegister for 7/15 Session Here \n  \n  \n
