SUMMARY:SANTA PAULA–Mountain to Sea Jubilee
DESCRIPTION:SANTA PAULA—October 21 is a “big bash” to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Ventura County\, part of a series of events that will be hosted into November. A Mountain to the Sea Jubilee will be held in Santa Paula and will feature community performances\, interactive booths\, and the opening of the Ventura County\, the Place We Call Home exhibit.  \nWhere: Agriculture Museum\, Museum of Ventura County | 926 Railroad Avenue\, Santa Paula\, CA 93060 \nWhen: 11 am–3 pm \nFREE and open to the public! \nOther project-supported events include: \n· The Japanese American Experience in Ventura County\, by Dr. Lily Anne Welty-Tamai\, California State University Channel Islands\, Oct. 25 in Camarillo. \n· “The Ramona Story: Film Screening and Discussion\,” at Rancho Camulos Museum\, Oct. 28\, in Piru. \n· History is Now Photography Exhibit curated by Focus on the Masters\, in Thousand Oaks\, Now through Nov. 5\, Exhibit Walkthrough\, Oct. 26. \n· El Bracero: A Mariachi Opera at the Fillmore Town Theatre\, presented by the ÁNIMO Theatre Company\, Nov. 10\, in Fillmore. \n· “A Celebration of the Indigenous Peoples of Ventura County for Native American Heritage Month\,” at the Chumash Indian Museum\, Nov. 12 in Thousand Oaks. \nMore information on all the County of Ventura’s 150th Anniversary events\, including dates\, times\, and locations is available on the dedicated website\, venturacounty150.com.
