What’s Your Story, California? New Funding is Available For Story-Based Projects

California Humanities will soon be accepting applications for its Community Stories grant program. New grant guidelines will be posted by May 15 on our website here and the deadline for applications will be 5:00pm August 1, 2012.

Community Stories (formerly named the California Story Fund) is our ongoing, competitive grantmaking program designed to support projects that document and share compelling stories from and about California’s diverse communities. Descriptions of previously funded projects can be viewed here. Applicants may request up to $10,000 in grant funds and any amount received must be matched with an equivalent cash or in-kind resource.

Our web-based and in-person informational meeting schedule will be held in early June and further details and registration instructions will be announced as soon as possible on our grants page.
