Riverside, CA—Join award-winning filmmaker Mridu Chandra for a free community talk on her upcoming documentary SAUND vs COCHRAN. Saund served three terms representing California’s Riverside & Imperial counties from 1957-1963.
Chandra, whose documentaries focus on civil rights, environmental and racial justice, and gender equality, will share insights from her three years of research into this overlooked chapter of American history and will share clips from her work-in-progress.
