Library Innovation Lab Fund

America’s public libraries have played an important role in welcoming newcomers throughout our history. California Humanities builds on that legacy by growing capacity within California libraries to develop creative and innovative programs that respond to the needs of today’s immigrants and foster more inclusive communities in our state.

The Library Innovation Lab provides training, support, and resources to a cohort of programming librarians. This support enables them to design and implement new public humanities projects that reach and engage underserved immigrant groups in California.
