Interwoven Histories

Join for the closing reception of Interwoven Histories on September 5 from 5:30-8:30. It will feature readings by Genny Lim, current San Francisco Poet Laureate, and Alejandro Murguía, San Francisco’s 6th Poet Laureate, followed by a conversation about immigration, storytelling, social practice, and the role of art in healing. The discussion will explore how socially engaged art can create space for reflection, connection, and collective care, and why this work is especially important in the current moment.

The evening will offer an opportunity to experience the exhibition, contribute to the evolving community weaving, and gather in community one final time before the exhibition closes.
