Oral History Workshop History and Housing in Redding flyer

REDDING—An oral history workshop to document Redding’s historically Black neighborhoods, experiences, and archival media.

Join us to share your family’s story, and your memories of the Linden Ave neighborhood and surrounding area. Digging up any old pictures and news clippings you have will help to stir up memories, and we can scan your items to preserve them in a digital format.

All are welcome to attend and learn about this important local history, as well as the oral history collection and archiving process in general. Everyone has a story, and anyone can help to preserve more of them.

Where: Linden Avenue Apartments Community Room, 2795 West St, Redding, CA 96001
When: Friday, September 27, 1 to 4 pm
