SANTA FE SPRINGS—Join us for the Library of Stories, Flavors, and Sounds, a vibrant weeklong celebration of Korean and Mexican immigrant experiences happening November 4–9, 2024! Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of both communities through memorable activities. Throughout the week members of the community can attend readings by local authors including Mirelle Ortega, Reynaldo Mora, Helena Ku Rhee, and Susie Yi. Dive into creativity with interactive art workshops like “Colors of Our Community” and “Mapping Our Story.” Experience the joy of music with lively performances featuring Mexican folklore and sounds by Cascada de Flores, and be inspired by a special presentation of the Korean national anthem performed by local violinist Sara Jin. This weeklong celebration will end with a special presentation on Korean tea and dessert tasting by Youngmi Yi. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect, create, and celebrate together.
