Apply Now: Humanities for All Project Grants 

California Humanities invites you to apply for the Humanities for All Project Grants, supporting locally-initiated public humanities programming that reflects the diverse needs and interests of Californians. These grants encourage public engagement, particularly among new and underserved audiences, and promote understanding and empathy essential to a thriving democracy. 

The first step in the application process is the Letter of Intent (LOI), available beginning January 8, 2025, and due by February 14, 2025. Join our Informational Webinar on January 15, 2025, to learn more about the application process, eligibility, and project expectations. LOI decisions will be emailed by March 7, 2025. 

The grant period for selected projects runs from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2027. Applicants invited to proceed to the second phase will receive detailed instructions on the next steps.
