Oakland, CA – March 6, 2025 – California Humanities is pleased to announce the return of Vanessa Whang as a consultant serving as Programs Strategy Advisor. Whang, a former Director of Programs at California Humanities, brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of the organization’s mission and programs. Her expertise will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of California Humanities’ program initiatives. In addition, California Humanities is excited to welcome Shonda Moore as its new Director of Marketing and Communications. Moore will lead the organization’s efforts to amplify its mission and impact across the state through strategic communications, branding, and public engagement.
