Congratulations to the new recipients of Humanities for All Project Grants (February deadline). The awardees will support a diverse array of public humanities programs, including exhibits, community conversations, dramatic performances, film screenings and discussions, and story-sharing and knowledge-building activities. These projects, including a series of live neighborhood-based story-sharing events in LA, and a multimedia exhibit and public programming project exploring Latino history and culture in the Central Valley, will enable Californians of many backgrounds and ages across the state to learn more about one another, promote greater empathy and understanding, and encourage thoughtful engagement with topics of importance to all of us. Check out the full list of awardees and funded project descriptions here.
Our next deadline for Humanities for All grants will be August 1, 2018. Updated guidelines will be available by June 4, and information sessions (virtual and face-to-face) held in June and July. The application webinar will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:00 am. Register here.
