WHITTIER—Cruise on down for an exciting afternoon celebrating the history and culture of lowriding! Bring your friends and family to enjoy a day filled with cars, community, and culture as we showcase both full-sized and miniature lowriders.
We will be screening The Great American Lowrider Tradition, a critically acclaimed documentary by local director Martin Torrez.
After the screening, head over to the Central Library parking lot to see live lowriders from @lifetimefamiliacc_. Also, world-renowned lowrider artist and diorama craftsman, Armando Flores (@armandoflores1032), will display his stunning Whittier Blvd set piece outside the Library. Adding to the atmosphere, RC lowriders will be featured, courtesy of @Delegation_RCS.
Enjoy free book swag and great tunes throughout the event!
