Grantee Spotlight: Liminal Space

Shaping Tomorrow: Convergence is an interactive experience by Liminal Space Collective which explores the space between place and connection. Participants will play a game together, creating a colorful spatial art piece as we play, one which illustrates our connections with each other and with the land around us. Artists will guide attendees through a series of quests and conversations to distill the themes brought up during our New Year’s Eve debut of Shaping Tomorrow and to connect us back to local geography. Taking place inside The 418 Project and right next to the San Lorenzo river, Convergence will highlight the role of the coastal watershed in our lives, give us the opportunity to learn new ways of cooperating through biomimicry, and prompt the community to collectively reflect on our shared vision for Santa Cruz. Learn more about Liminal Space at https://www.limi.space/. Liminal Space Collective is a project of The 418 Project, a 501(c)(3)
