Join us for the opening of Interwoven Histories, a new exhibition by artist Alexandru Salceanu that brings together two interconnected projects, Witness Collaborative and AlieNation, to explore the human experience of migration through personal testimony and historical context.

Through immersive video, sound, and public programming, the exhibition invites visitors to become active witnesses to stories of resilience, displacement, family, and hope. By bringing personal narratives into dialogue with the history of immigration, Interwoven Histories creates space for reflection, conversation, and connection.

A central feature of the exhibition is an evolving community weaving. Visitors are invited to write, draw, or share a memory, story, hope, or reflection on strips of cotton canvas that will be woven into a growing collective artwork. As the exhibition travels, this tapestry will continue to expand, carrying the voices and experiences of every community it encounters.
