LA MIRADA—The Art of Día de los Muertos: Sugar Skulls

LA MIRADA—Learn about the history and culture of Día de los Muertos and create your own sugar skull. This program will be led by a teaching artist from Theatre of Hearts/Youth First! Suggested for children ages 5-12. Attendance is limited and advance registration is required.

This program is part of the La Mirada Celebrates! series. Cultural and holiday celebrations bind families, neighborhoods, and communities together. Fall includes some of the most important cultural holidays, including the Hispanic holiday Día de los Muertos. Let’s celebrate all season with food, art, dance, and song!
