Live Podcast Recording Reclaiming Our Stories

Join California Humanities for a special live gathering celebrating Reclaiming Our Stories: Voices of Indigenous Peoples of California, a six-part podcast series amplifying Native voices, histories, and contemporary experiences across California.

Hosted by Storyweaver Hon. Victorio L. Shaw, Esq., the evening will feature conversation, reflection, and community engagement centered on Indigenous storytelling, cultural continuity, and the importance of Native communities telling their own stories on their own terms.

This event is part of California Humanities’ broader commitment to fostering dialogue, understanding, and connection through the humanities as the nation approaches the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Guests will have the opportunity to engage with the series’ themes, connect with community members, and celebrate the power of storytelling to shape a more inclusive understanding of California’s past, present, and future.
