Voices of the Golden Ghosts

Thousands of African Americans participated in Northern California’s Gold Rush. Where did they go? A new project will research the lives of African Americans who mined for gold in Shasta and Siskiyou Counties. If you are interested in Ethnic Studies, theatre, archeology, or history, this project is for you!
