Grantee Highlight: An Evening at FilmHouse: Filmmaker Residency Showcase

On September 10, SFFILM welcomed filmmakers and community members to FilmHouse in San Francisco for an evening celebrating the FilmHouse Residency—the only year-round program of its kind in the nation.

Guests heard directly from SFFILM’s Artist Development Team and past Residents, who shared stories about the program’s role in advancing their projects and building a supportive creative community. The event offered a rare inside look at how the residency provides Bay Area filmmakers with artistic guidance, office space, and sustained industry connections.

FilmHouse continues to thrive thanks to the generous support of the Kenneth Rainin Foundation and Film SF.
